Head of School Welcome

Coverack Primary School is located overlooking the picturesque harbour of Coverack on the Lizard Peninsula.  Our school is at the heart of a thriving coastal community and we greatly value the strong links with the village.  We are well known for our good quality of education and offer a broad, enriching curriculum enabling all to feel that Coverack School is a place 'where happy learners grow'.
Our school is inclusive and welcoming. It has a warm family feel, whilst setting high expectations for all to succeed and be the very best they can be.
Our pupils enjoy a wide range of educational experiences which are aimed at further enriching their educational provision;  four residential trips, sailing, literary festivals, beach days, Forest School,  swimming,  surfing and much more, all of which are designed to help them find their passion and set them up to meet our vision of enabling them to be happy learners.
Physical Education is an important part of what makes Coverack special and our children have many opportunities to compete with other local schools. We have a dedicated PE specialist working alongside staff and children, delivering exciting PE lessons and after school clubs and ensuring our PE curriculum is rich and of high quality.
Parents, pupils, staff and the local community work together in close partnership, in order to continually improve all aspects of school life and we are very fortunate to have an active PTFA and Space 2000 committee who work enthusiastically for the benefit of the children.
I would be delighted to give you a tour of our school and if you would like to arrange a visit, please call or email me. Our children and staff are very proud of their small but mighty school and would love to show you around!
I look forward to welcoming you.
